Follow this recipe to make the yummiest chocolate cake in 2 minutes....
I have a huuuge sweet tooth. Usually something cakey and chocolatey satisfies that craving so a 2-minute chocolate cake is the perfect solution to my problem. After trying so many recipes, I've finally found the best one!
Recipe adapted from Table for Two.
What you need:
1/8 cup flour
1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. maple syrup (or natural sweetener of your choice)
Pinch of salt
2 1/2 tbsp. almond milk
1 tbsp. oil (of your choice)
A large dollap of pumpkin pie filling, chocolate hazelnut spread, or any other filling of your choice!
All you have to do is mix up all the ingredients in a microwavable-safe mug or ramekin, plop your dollap of filling in the middle, and pop your concoction into the microwave for 60 seconds! Optional: Top it with whipped cream or a scoop of icecream and sprinkle with cinnamon!
The pumpkin pie-filled chocolate mug cake is perfect for the holiday season and the chocolate hazelnut-filled one is my favourite for all year round! I have yet to try some more combinations. :)
